Nine of ALC’s learners in our Online English Classes welcomed Fr. Bernard Holzer, the school director of ALC, 2 AA brothers (Deacon Joseph Thien and Br. JB The), and ALC-PDO (Hannah Pabilonia) during their visit of Da Lat as part of program of ALC’s scholarship arm to meet and personally talk to the recipients of scholarships to learn English in the school.
The meeting took place on 25 July.
The nine learners are comprised of religious and lay people who work on the farms being maintained by Caritas Da Lat. They are mostly members of an ethnic minority group in the area.
“It is a challenge to work as a farmer during the day and attend our online classes in the evening, but Teacher Alvin gives us fun and interesting lessons that makes learning English less difficult than I originally thought,” says Maria Njàn Dung one of our learners from Caritas Da Lat this 3rd Cycle 2022.
